Close but not quite

I want to love this pen. It looks great, nice size, not too big not too small. However, I’ve made two of these so far and have had to glue the finial cap in both times as the tube is too large for the cap (or vice versa). I considered the idea that maybe while milling the ends I was perhaps slightly enlarging the diameter of the tube. However, all other components, including the nib, fit great. This kit makes a great finished product but it takes more work than should be necessary.

Great pen style

I've turned a few different "slim" style pen kits and the Toni Twist is my favorite. The mechanism inside turns and stops better than all the others. Plus the larger center bushing allows for a more robust pen but doesn't make it too big.

Quality mid-size pen

Quality medium weight 7mm pen. Slightly larger than a Slimline pen without the "pinched" look of the small middle ring. Nice fit between larger Cigar style and Slimline pen. Cross refills.
